नववर्ष - काव्यपाठ

हर महीने के आखिरी शनिवार को अकादमी ऑफ फाईन आर्ट्स एंड लिटरेचर में होने वाली काव्यात्मक गोष्ठी “डायलॉग” इस बार 31 दिसंबर 2011 को संपन्न हुई। इस गोष्ठी में नौ महिला कवियों ने काव्यपाठ किया मेरी बेटी विपिन ने भी अपनी तीन कवितायें सुनाईं जिन्हें खूब सराहा गया. पंजाबी की जानी-मानी कवयित्रि और FOSWAL (The foundation of SAARC writers and literature) की अध्यक्षा अजीत कौर ने विपिन को अपनी कविताओं का तर्जुमा अँगरेजी में कर उन्हें देने को कहा और उन कविताओं पर विशेष टिप्पणी की.

A tree in front of my house......

I used to have a beautiful tree in front of my house, but there was no end to mysweeping around it. I have noticed tho that if you do a more serious tree trim it will I have noticed tho that if you do a more serious tree trim it will cut back on flower production.

 Sunglasses

In an attempt to escape reality

I put on the sunglasses,

Because my eyes were dazzled by life.

I grew used to their comforting dimness

And it was only when, many years later,

I remembered I was wearing them,

And found the courage to take them off,

That I realized what I had missed.
