Mending broken Plastic bucket

Few days back my mom slipped in bath and fell on bucket............i did some mending so that i can mak use of this bucket for making pots for plants...see the other posts of my plant pots out of broken plastic buckets ....here  and here...

I bought some flowers and Diwali for Puja and these four big rose sticks

Specially to place each in different types of bottles. But all the bottles are stacked in the

box on taand ( a Haryanvi term for: A high level shelving unit in the lobby of a house)


and my daughter placed them in the jug full of water. I felt like I had to wait forever to see this, but it was certainly worth it . there’s been an unending supply of flowers for vases on festive days .............Roses, Marigolds, Lotus, and Gladiolas.

कल शाम की  जलेबी के नाम रही चलिये आप भी बानाइये और खाईये   सामग्री २ प्याले मैदा,१ छोटा चम्मच बेकिंग पाउडर,तलने के लिए घी,२ प्याले चीनी,चुटकी                              भर केसर,१ छोटा चम्मच गुलाबजल,पिसी हुई छोटी इलायची।

विधि मैदे में बेकिंग पाउडर मिलाकर छान लें। पानी डालकर क्रीम जितना पतला बना लें। २४ घंटे के लिये गरम जगह पर रखें। ताकि हल्का ख़मीर आ जाए।२ प्याले चीनी में २ प्याले पानी डालें और एक तार की चाशनी बनने तक उबाल लें।चाशनी में गुनगुने पानी में घुला हुआ केशर गुलाबजल और इलायची डालें।कढ़ाई में घी गरम करें।मैदे के घोल को एक मुलायम कपड़े में डालकर बांध लें और नीचे से छोटा सा छेद कर लें। बाजार में आने वाले प्लास्टिक के छोटे मुंह वाले डब्बे का प्रयोग किया जा सकता है जो विशेष रूप से इस काम के लिये मिलता है।कढ़ाई में गोल गोल जलेबियाँ बना कर तल लें।  अच्छी तली हुई जलेबियाँ चाशनी में डालें।५ मिनट बाद चाशनी से निकालकर गरम गरम ही परोसें। शब्बा खैर!

I am a person who never kills the time, I made several crocheted and knitted sweaters, paddle pants, skirts, scarves, mittens socks for my children during travel hours for my survey work for THE  project I . That’s why usually my hands seldom remain idle. Except for during /sleeping hours. I always like to have my hands busy. It’s comforting to me. Whether it is on computer, clicking camera, sewing, painting, knitting, embroidering. I am constantly clicking my pen at work too. I think its annoying sometimes for the people by your side. It’s especially true with travelling long distances. I became nostalgic on seeing the shirt in picture above the edgings at neck with little grannies werecrocheted by me on the tours of villages near our city .........click here to know about the Shalwar_suit   from Jaipur cotton

फूल वाला हैंगिंग

बड़े दिन पहले लूसी के ब्लॉग पर यह फूल वाला हैंगिंग देखा था तब इसे बनाने की तमन्ना थीं

 3-4 दिन पहले शुरू किया था तब यह बनाया ..

 मुझे इसका साइज बहुत छोटा लगा तब मैंने इसे पूरा किए बिना ही अपना पैटर्न बना कर यह बड़ा फूल और पत्तियाँ बनाई

 इन्हें फिर पी. वीं.सी. पेस्ट लगा कर स्टिफ किया

देखें अब इन्हें पूरा करने का काम बाकी है...

My mom slipped.........

I don't seem to have had much time to keep my hands busy with any of the crafty work cos my mom slipped in bathroom and her wrist fractured, we immediately reported at hospital for the operation and plaster. 

After the hospital I have spent considerable time sitting in my garden just contemplating and thinking. Thinking? my mum used to say " no good thinking it will make your head swell." .

 I keep toying with the idea of spending the later months of winter in my front yard, in this corner only for sunshine. 

Please pray for the fast recovery of my mother. God may you give strength to my mom, heal her completely God with your precious blood. May you grant her OOOOOOOOOOOOOGoD the long and happy life including all my family members and all in the world.
