Sitting in my front yard right now, typing this out, I am completely surrounded by the calmest vibes. My house is located in a classic Housing Board (HB) building setup. One of the best things about these buildings is the massive, lush green park that completely surrounds them.
Originally, all the front yards here were open to nature—without any concrete walls or roofs. It felt like living right inside a park, and honestly, it was absolutely amazing! Over time, owners added boundary walls after taking possession, but the essence of nature is still very much alive here.
As I sit here, a gentle, cool breeze is blowing through my hair. The air carries the refreshing scent of the park's dense trees mixed with the sweet fragrance of my own balcony flowers. To make it even more magical, a flock of birds is chirping away happily in the grove of trees right in front of my house. It is the perfect, peaceful escape from the daily hustle.

Moments like these remind me that you don’t always need to travel far to find peace. Sometimes, it is right outside your front door, waiting for you in the rustle of the leaves and the quiet afternoon breeze. Sitting here today has truly recharged my soul.
