आज हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार, 7 दिसंबर 2025 को मार्गशीर्ष (अगहन) मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की सप्तमी तिथि है।आज हमने मित्र सप्तमी का पर्व मनाया, जो सूर्य देव को समर्पित है।आज हमने सूर्य की पूजा की और स्वास्थ्य तथा समृद्धि के लिए प्रार्थना की। पूजा के समय सूर्य देव का मंत्र पढ़ा एहि सूर्य सहस्त्रांशो तेजोराशे जगत्पते. अनुकम्पय मां देवी गृहाणार्घ्यं दिवाकर.. ॐ भूर्भुवः स्वःतत्सवितुर्वरेण्यं भर्गो देवस्यः धीमहि धियो यो नः प्रचोदयात्॥ आज सूर्य देव का दिन (रविवार) है, इसलिए धार्मिक कार्यों और सूर्य पूजा के लिए यह एक अच्छा दिन माना जाता है. आज हम विवस्वान (सूर्य देव), वैवस्वत मनु और राजा इक्ष्वाकु—जिन्हें सूर्यवंश का संस्थापक माना जाता है—के बारे में विस्तार से चर्चा करेंगे। ये तीनों हिंदू पौराणिक इतिहास की वे महत्वपूर्ण कड़ियाँ हैं, जिनसे अयोध्या के प्रतापी रघुवंश (जिसमें भगवान श्री राम हुए) की शुरुआत होती है। विवस्वान (सूर्य देव), मनु और राजा इक्ष्वाकु हिंदू पौराणिक कथाओं में सूर्यवंश के तीन महत्वपूर्ण और प्रारंभिक सदस्य हैं। ये तीनों एक-दूसरे से सीधे संबंधित हैं। 1. विवस्वान (सूर्य देव) परिचय: विवस्वान सूर्य देव का एक नाम है, जिन्हें वैदिक ग्रंथों में एक प्रमुख देवता माना जाता है। वह भगवान कश्यप और अदिति के पुत्र हैं।

(Source:internet) भूमिका: हिंदू धर्म में, विवस्वान को सूर्यवंश का आदि-प्रवर्तक या मूल स्रोत माना जाता है। भगवद गीता (अध्याय 4, श्लोक 1) में भगवान कृष्ण ने स्वयं उल्लेख किया है कि उन्होंने यह अविनाशी योग विज्ञान सबसे पहले विवस्वान को सिखाया था। 2. मनु (वैवस्वत मनु) परिचय: मनु, जिनका पूरा नाम वैवस्वत मनु या श्रद्धादेव मनु है, विवस्वान (सूर्य देव) और उनकी पत्नी संज्ञा के पुत्र हैं। उन्हें मानव जाति का पिता और प्रथम मनुष्य माना जाता है।

(Source:internet) भूमिका: मनु ने ही अपने पिता विवस्वान से योग और धर्म का ज्ञान प्राप्त किया और उसे पृथ्वी पर मानव समाज के लिए स्थापित किया। मनुस्मृति जैसे धर्मग्रंथों की रचना का श्रेय भी उन्हीं को जाता है। उन्होंने एक महान जल प्रलय (जिसे मत्स्य अवतार की कथा में वर्णित किया गया है) के दौरान मानव जाति की रक्षा की। राजा इक्ष्वाकु परिचय: राजा इक्ष्वाकु वैवस्वत मनु के दस पुत्रों में सबसे बड़े थे।

(Source:internet) भूमिका: इक्ष्वाकु कोसल राज्य के पहले राजा और अयोध्या शहर के संस्थापक माने जाते हैं। उन्होंने ही अपने पिता मनु द्वारा दिए गए ज्ञान के आधार पर पृथ्वी पर एक सुसंगठित राजव्यवस्था और इक्ष्वाकु वंश (जिसे सूर्यवंश भी कहा जाता है) की स्थापना की। वंश: इसी प्रतापी वंश में आगे चलकर राजा हरिश्चंद्र, राजा भगीरथ, राजा रघु और अंततः भगवान श्री राम का जन्म हुआ। जैन धर्म के पहले तीर्थंकर ऋषभदेव भी इसी वंश से थे। संक्षेप में, ये तीनों हस्तियाँ सूर्यवंश के संस्थापक क्रम में हैं, जिन्होंने वैदिक ज्ञान और क्षत्रिय परंपरा को पृथ्वी पर स्थापित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। rest is in the next post...continued...

Sawan month in Haryana

Haryana  state in India located in the northern part of the country. It was carved out of the former state of East Punjab on 1 November 1966 on a linguistic basis. It is ranked 22nd in terms of area, with less than 1.4% (44,212 km² or 17,070 sq mi) of India's land area. Chandigarh is the state capital, Faridabad in National Capital Region (NCR) is the most populous city of the state, and Gurgaon is a leading financial hub of the NCR, with major Fortune 500 companies located in it. Haryana has 6 administrative divisions, 22 districts, 72 sub-divisions, 93 revenue tehsils, 50 sub-tehsils, 140 community development blocks, 154 cities and towns, 6,848 villages, and 6,222 villages panchayats.

Sawan month holds an important place in Haryanvi folk culture. The festival of Teej is celebrated with great pomp in Haryana in the month of Sawan.

On this occasion, girls and women adorn and apply henna on their hands and feet. Parents send their married daughters' in-laws clothes and makeup items. It is customary for daughters to come to their father's house on the festival of Teej.

In earlier times, on the day of Teej, a fair was held near a pond, where girls and women used to swing on a swing on the trees, singing 'folk songs of Teej'. Such events are still held at some places in the rural setting but the traditional customs are now endangered in modern India.

This was the day when Krishna-Dwaipayana Vyasa – author of the Mahabharata – was born to sage Parashara and a fisherman's daughter Satyavati; thus this day is also celebrated as Vyasa Purnima.^[5]Veda Vyasa did yeoman service to the cause of Vedic studies by gathering all the Vedic hymns extant during his times, dividing them into four parts based on their use in the sacrificial rites, and teaching them to his four chief disciples – Paila, Vaisampayana, Jaimini and Sumantu. It was this dividing and editing that earned him the honorific "Vyasa" (vyas = to edit, to divide). "He divided the Holy Veda into four, namely Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva. The histories and the Puranas are said to be the fifth Veda."

Macrame planter 

When I was little, in school, doing macramé planters with rope. A few days ago I remembered them and I started thinking that I could try.

Yesterday I was shopping and saw in a store a roll of cotton rope that could serve, so I bought it this afternoon and I began to make the planter and here it is.

The truth is that the development has not been easy: 

First, the measures do not have to have for each string, so I cut them  randomly  . I've been a little short, but not very noticeable. 

And secondly, many years passed and did not remember macramé knots already. After several attempts I managed to remember how to do.
