By
God’s grace we are doing well. Mama and I have a little cough and cold. We are
taking hot vapor inhalation with eucalyptus oil, works well. We are also
sipping dry Ginger/ sonth tea. Yesterday was a
very peaceful and 'kind ' day. It was farewell party day for my niece. She
enjoyed it very much the photos and video clips didn’t reach yet……………I will
post them when available.

Yesterday we were talking about
Doordarshan days we talked a lot about Salma Sultan,who started her carrier as
an announcer and presenter with Doorarshan. Her dress sense ,her accent was
unique.Those days (1967-68), they would not take young people for news reading
but mature ones. Pratima Puri and Gopal Kaul
