It was during my
admission in prep in F C College hisar in 1972, when my primary purpose was to
train myself in music (play sitar) I had
my first spark of interest in music than. Not only was I drawn to the music by its
expressiveness and depth, but I also felt that a more holistic lifestyle could
only benefit from the addition of an introspective music practice. Indeed, back
in Agra I often incorporate the sound of the bansuri flute during our stay near
a Bengali family (my father’s friend’s family).
