EXERCISES

                                                    

 

The following general exercises ,by strenthening muscles in key areas of the body ,contribute towards good

posture .

 To strengthen lower abdomen : Lie on back on the floor ; exhale; raise right leg slowly without bending; hold it up and count to 10 slowly; lower it slowly;inhale. Do repeat 2 or 3 times. Increase gradually to 20 times.

 To strengthen upper abdomen: Lie on back with arms folded across chest;. exhale; raisehead slowly, keeping legs on the floor;hold for 10 seconds; lower head; inhale. Repeat 2 or 3 times. Increase gradually to 20 times.

 To strengthen buttocks: Lying on back,tighten the buttocks as much as possible; hold for 10 seconds; relax. Repeat 2 or 3 times. Increase to 20 times.

 To strengthen back: Lying on stomach with arms at  sides, slowly raise chest and shoulders; hold for 10 seconds; relax. Repeat 2 or 3 times. Increase gradually to 20 times.
