THE LION-MOUTON:
It tells the story of
a lioness, who was about to give birth and who was looking for prey, she saw a
flock of sheep and she jumped. But this effort killed her and a little lion was
born, orphan. took care of him, raised him, he grew up with them, ate grass,
bleated like sheep, and over time he became a big adult lion, but he still
thought he was a sheep, and one day another lion approached. In search of prey,
he was amazed to see a lion in the midst of this flock of sheep, who fled like
sheep when danger approached, and tried to approach the lion-sheep, to tell him
that it was a lion and not a sheep, but at his approach the unfortunate animal fled.
He sought however an opportunity and one day, finding the lion-sheep asleep, he
approached him and said: "You a lion.”The other whimpered," I'm a
sheep, "he could not believe the opposite and he was bleating. The first
lion then dragged him to a lake and said, "Look! here is my picture and
here is yours ". Then the so-called sheep compared, he looked at the lion,
and then looked at his own image and in a moment he realized he was a lion. He
began to roar. No more bleating! You too are like that lion. You are souls,
pure, infinite, and perfect. (Swami
