Its tea time, my grand daughter

A Cup Of Tea Solves Everything…

…You may not believe me but its true!

Belive me or not but its true!

There was a time in my village when only one man used to take tea and only once in day! Of course  ..in the morning!
Other people taste tea ………..only when they were ill.
An interesting thing again is that they mostly drink tea in kansi thalies or belaas
A cup of tea can console even the most distraught of people. Taking little sips giving them time to breathe and the warmth from the mug giving them comfort.
Best served in a tea cup - it tastes soo much better - and preferably with biscuits cake or sandwiches. Although I’m patriotic to the traditional Haryanvi Breakfast, in this case an afternoon tea blend adds no end of sophistication to an occasion.
In the morning it brings many people back of life, and prepares them for the trials of the day. It can quell even the most shakiest of nerves.

My Cuppa

A cuppa is essential fare for a good old chat with your best friend, or when breaking bad news. With milk and sugar it softens the blow.
Of course there are hundreds of different types of tea. Exploring the history, can be even more rewarding then the tea itself.

Herbal blends should get their mention too. Prescribed for all types of ailments, but most useful when you feel you have overindulged and just need a good detox . Fruity to medicinal, they all have their place - although I must say be careful with diet tea, the bitter taste is often hard to swallow!
Afternoon tea is the most important and special incarnation of tea. A real Haryanvi tradition for decades  now.

Nowadays tea is a phenomenon and regaining its popularity as an afternoon essential, with tea shops popping up all over the place (much to my delight).
So, take the time to really indulge in your cuppa, as a rare moment in the day where you can really take a breather, empty your mind and relax.

Going back when India was struggling for Independence

Can you imagine an India or an Indian without the iconic brew, cha or tea that warms their soul several times a day?

And yet, there was a period when millions of Indians lived and breathed a doctrine with a singular purpose—to spread the message of the Freedom Movement. And they gave up tea as part of the protest.

The morning tea of Satyagrahis was replaced with a different brew. This one was made with herbs and jaggery, typically consumed without milk. It was nicknamed "kora c'ha" or "dry tea"...

My G- daughter spends the whole day in the house, when we are in the room, she wanders in the kitchen and dining, sometimes driving her skates and something else........

Advertisement s are her best TV shows ......she love them

Ready to go for play ...

Micky mouse is her favorite.....

can you imagine she is hiding in the carton

her horse waiting for her

mischievous girl hiding her face!

her doll house on book rack .of coursebooks belong to her aunt,my daughter

its me on my couch

Rehana is welcome to play throughout the main floor of the house. She likes to run back and forth between the living room and her bedroom. Since her bedroom is quite small, she has some books and hersoft toys in there and the rest is out in the living room. She has his own section of the bookcase and I quite like looking at her toys strewn about—it’s the sign of a happy day!
