White top and your wardrobe

I think white cotton top is one of the most versatile pieces of any body’s wardrobe.......it looks equally chic with corduroys, denims as well as formal trousers, hence can be used for both casual & semi-formal looks. Also, being white and cotton, these shown in the pictures of my cute daughter and niece are  perfect for a hot day spent roaming in search of cool air while visiting different scenitic places in Delhi . The peep of green adds the fresh & bright touch to the whole sober white & blue jeans combo.

MY niece......with her friend.....

Since it was safer for everyone if we stayed with the tree tank when wind Storm -is furious enough to move on toward shelter area……,"we found a big tree while it happened (wind storm) during our walk toward the library after our class" said my niece…..

I never saw a discontented tree. They grip the ground as though they liked it, and though fast rooted they travel about as far as we do.
John Muir
Trees go wandering forth in all directions with every wind, going and coming like ourselves, traveling with us around the sun two million miles a day, and through space heaven knows how fast and far!
John Muir

Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.
John Muir
And we felt quiet safe under the protection of a Big TREE TANK!
 Have a nice day!

Cute Jumper for cute Niece.........

This is my 2nd project of sewing dresses (My first dress project is here ) from the Fabric stash I bought for making my fabric stock. Also along with this stock I bought some fabric for my niece It's a Rajasthan Shalwar kameez (termed as jumper in our colloquial Haryanvi) dress material for my niece! Unfortunately, I can't take any pictures of her in it because I won't have enough time since I’m home from Delhi (woah!).

This was a very straightforward project and the directions were fairly simple. It didn't take very long either, it could easily be finished in a day. The measurements for the churidar was  a little bit difficult so I took help from my neighbor who is expert in sewing all types of girl’s to get the jumper to the size I needed, I took the help of her older jumper for pattern.

I've really been enjoying this dress after year’s lapse in sewing. As I got my sewing machine Not to mention it helps me think of ways to decrease my ever-growing stash of fabric. If you're into sewing hobby and want to buy new sewing tool, be sure to check out sewing-machine  guide from Anand Mistery at his blog anandhmistry.blogspot.in, he reviewed for usha janome and singer machines and noted down their features there!

I will post her full dress later on!!!!
XOXO!
