In my childhood this poem was a staple for me also!

The poem was a staple of American readers for many years, and A Plea for Old Cap Collier by Irvin S. Cobb, satirized it. His description is partly based on an illustration used in the readers. The words quoted are Longfellow's:

कैसे बनायें?
इसके लिये बेस कपङा लें अपने बैग की लम्बाई व् चौड़ाई के अनुसार व साईडों के लिये, चित्र 1 अनुसार
१,२,३,४ माप लें ऐवं ज़रुरत अनुसार चौङाई ले लें
ईतना ही फयुज़न कपङा ( पेसटिंग वाली टैटरोन) लें,
ऐवं ईतना ही लाईनिंग के लिये कपङा लें,
ज़रुरत अनुसार ज़िप लें जितनी आपको जेबें लगानी हों
साङी का बार्डर, व कुछ मेन साङी का कपङा, बैग के ऊपर निचे व बैग बंद करने के लिये, फलैप पर
लगाने के लिये लें ( इन्हें भी फ्यूजन करें)।
बेस कपङे को ऊलटा कर फयुज़न कपङा गोंद कि तरफ से उस के ऊपर रखैं, मलमल के कपङे को पानी
में भिगो कर निचोङ लें, इसे फयुज़न कपङे पर अच्छी तरह फैला कर इस्त्री करें, ध्यान रहे इस्त्री को
रख कर दबाएँ,फिर उठायें, फिर दुसरी जगह ऐसा ही करें, इस तरह दोनो परतें फयूज़ हो जायेंगी। बैग
की दुसरी साईड व साइडों को भी इसी तरह फयूज़ कर लें। साङी का बार्डर, साङी का कपङा, पैच लगाने
के लिए व् बैग बंद करने वाली फ्लैप के लीए जो साड़ी बार्डर लिया है उसे से भी फ्यूजन कपड़े से फ्यूज़
कर लें.
अब सिलाई शुरू करें---
बैग के सामने वाले हिस्से पर ऊपर व निचे डिज़ाईन (चित्र 2, देखें) जोङ दें, अब सामने वाले हिस्से पर
साईडें जोङ दें (सीधी तरफ से) बैग का पिछला हिस्सा भी साइडों से जोङ दें। बैग की बाहरी सिलाई को
पाईपिंग से सिलते हुये छिपा दें।
लाईनिंग भी इसी तरह सिलाई कर जोङ लें, जेबें लगा कर ज़िप लगालें।
बैग व लाईनिंग के उलटे हिस्से को अंदर से मिला कर जोङते हूये सिलाई कर लें, ऊपर से भी पाईपिंग
लगा लें.
फलैप बैग के पिछले हिस्से ( देखें चित्र 2 में पीछे का हिस्सा) पर बीच में जोङ दें, किसी बटन पर बेस
कपङा मढ कर फ्लैप पर टांक दें, फलैप पर व बैग के सामने बीच में व्ल्क्रो ( बैग बंद करने के लिए) टांक
दें, आईलैट लगा कर हैंडल डाल दें।
अब यह बैग व पर्स दोनों का काम करेगा और बार- बार इसे इस्तेमाल किया जा सकेगा। इस तरह आप
पर्यावरण बचाने में सहायक होंगी.
मेरी बेटी ने इस बैग को माडल किया है, साड़ी से बनाये सूट में से बची कतरनों को मैंने अपने कतरनों
के डिब्बे में सहेज लिया था. बेटी के जन्म-दिन पर यह मैचिंग बैग बना कर मैंने उसे भेंट किया तथा
पोली- बैग से खरीदारी न कर के, पर्यावरण बचाने में शायद कुछ मदद हो, पुराणी साड़ी रिसाइकिल कर
के सुट. रिसाइकिल का महत्व समाहित है

Diary 1964

My grand ma had to work a lot and there was just no opportunity for women to stay home and take care of their children,she had to take care of cattles(collect their dung,make cow dung cakes clean cattle shed)she had to fetch water from well,churn milk, after household and animal husbandry tasks she had to go to farm for rest of the day and return home at dusk . Just like grand ma, I spent my childhood, all school breaks in a remote village with no electricity, TV or other advantages of civilization. I am not regretting it, it was a very happy childhood. We were always outside, playing, reading, helping in the nohara (A semi-covered area with some boundary for keeping the livestockavar ) and our farm   the whole day. We didn’t have electricity, reading good books with the kerosene lantern  light, no refrigerator, storing the food underground, no washing machine, walking miles on sandy path  and washing the clothes in the pond water, no market in the village , picking up our fresh veggies like guavar fali, channa saag, saangari, kaachri, kaachar,petha,ghiya,tindsi from our farm and bitoda area  and getting the water from the well (it was my favorite activity ever!!!).

My  Gandma was a very important person in my life, a hardworking and loving woman. And she left such an important impact on my life. Gandma left Bagar, her birth place after her marriage when she was 12  years of age and now lives  in Bhiwani District of Haryana   One year she went  to spend her vacation with her parents who live in her grandparent’s house  and she found there a bag full of yarn that was hand-spun by my grandma’s  grandma  many  years ago. She brought that yarn with her when returned to her own house It was so inspiring and emotional to see this yarn and it was a beginning of a wonderful journey of creating something absolutely unique – raw minimally processed traditional Haryanvi  desi cotton. And this is how my love for hand spun raw cotton yarn developed. And I learned all the spinning related tasks including preparing charkha to spun.

GULLY BOY: A Film Review...Not Really
My children (son daughter and grand daughter)  and I want to spend time outdoor   last week  , so we decided to cash in our free tickets and go see the latest   movie

Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby’s Gully Boy (UA) is the story of an aspiring rap singer and his journey from rags to stardom. It borrows liberally from the life stories of rap singers Naezy and Divine.
Murad (Ranveer Singh) is a lower middle-class boy who studies in college and lives in a chawl with his father (Vijay Raaz), mother (Amruta Subhash), younger brother, Suhail (Svar Kamble), and grandmother (Jyoti Subhash). His father is a driver of a rich family. The father wants Murad to also take up some small job so that he can supplement the family income. However, Murad’s heart is in rap songs. He dreams of becoming a rap singer but doesn’t know how to go about it. He writes his own songs and is very passionate about rapping. His father hates Murad’s passion and can’t see eye to eye with him on that. In fact, the father asks Murad to fill in for him as driver when he himself meets with an accident which sees his leg in cast. Murad obliges but hates the very thought of serving someone in this fashion. So he continues to pursue his dream, now with rapper-friend MC Sher (Siddhant Chaturvedi).
Murad is in love with Safeena (Alia Bhatt) who is studying to be a doctor. Safeena is also mad about Murad and can well understand his passion. Safeena’s parents (Sheeba Chaddha who is a housewife, and Ikhlaque Khan who is a doctor) are unaware of Safeena’s affair.
Even while Murad’s struggle is on, his father marries another lady, Parveen (Tina Bhatiya), and gets her to stay in the tiny house, with the rest of the family. This frustrates Murad even more. Anyway, things are looking up on the professional front as Sky (Kalki Koechlin), a music composer, collaborates with Murad and MC Sher.
There comes a stage when Murad and Safeena drift apart due to differences. Meanwhile, Murad is working hard to qualify for the finals in the rap singing contest which will win him Rs. 10 lakh in prize money and give him a chance to meet a famous international rap singer. Along the way, Murad is forced to leave home with his mom and brother. His maternal uncle, Ateeq (Vijay Maurya), tries to get him a respectable job but is Murad interested at all?
What happens finally? Does Murad take up a nine-to-five job or does he step into his father’s shoes or does he become a rap singer? Does he qualify for the finals and win the competition? Do Murad and Safeena patch up? What had led to Murad and Safeena’s break-up?
The film’s story, inspired by the lives of two famous rap singers, has been written by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar. The story is penned in such an extraordinary fashion that it has the audience hooked on to it right from the word ‘go’. The characters are so real and their aspirations, so relateable that the story, in a way, becomes everyone’s story. The hookline – Apna time aayega – is a fantastic one because it has been an aspirational hookline for every human being at some point or the other. In that sense also, the story becomes the story of every person watching the film.
Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar deserve distinction marks for an outstanding screenplay which completely and absolutely consumes the audience. The screenplay has layers and each layer is splendid. Murad’s family drama has a lot of meat. Safeena’s family story is also extremely interesting. Murad and Safeena’s love story has a lot of depth, humour and emotions. Murad’s journey, of course, is simply remarkable. The sub-plots in the drama are several and each of them has been so wonderfully written that one can’t help but marvel at the genius of the two writers. The screenplay may not make the viewers cry but it does get a tear to the eyes of the weak-hearted while filling the strong-hearted with emotions. The humour is simply delightful. Yes, a film about rap singers and singing and with 17-18 rap songs may not appeal to a section of the over-50 (age group) audience but even they would like the other dramas in the screenplay. Frankly, one was not aware of the popularity of the rap culture in India till the first trailer of this film was out – after which, it seemed as if Indians, especially the youth, have had an affair with rap singing since ages! In other words, there may be some who may be sceptical about an entire film on rap artistes but once in the film, many among those will take to it like fish to water. The climax looks abrupt but the tying up of loose threads in the end rolling titles makes up for the sudden ending.
Vijay Maurya deserves high praise for his mind-blowing dialogues. He has used the language which lower middle-class Muslims use, complete with the accent and all. Not just that, his dialogues are so weighty that they become a major asset of the film.

Ranveer Singh lends tremendous energy to the character of Murad. He does a splendid job and comes out with flying colours. Kudos to him for looking every inch like a lower middle-class chawl-residing Muslim boy raring to pursue his passion, and his awkwardness as a fresher is lovely. He delivers an award-winning performance and proves that no role is difficult for him. This actor is a strong candidate for superstardom! Alia Bhatt shines in the role of Safeena, which she plays with élan. Although the story revolves around Ranveer Singh, there are six to seven scenes which belong to Alia and she stands out so extraordinarily in them that everyone else pales into insignificance. This girl is just in a different league altogether. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that her’s, too, is an award-worthy performance. She looks very beautiful also. Siddhant Chaturvedi looks handsome and is absolutely first-rate as MC Sher. He is so endearing in his debut role that girls will go weak in the knees. Kalki Koechlin is excellent as Sky. Although she has a brief role, she has a terrific impact on the audience. Vijay Raaz lends a great deal of authenticity to his character. He performs beautifully as Murad’s father and looks the character. Amruta Subhash is lovely as Murad’s suffering mother. Sheeba Chaddha has her moments as Safeena’s mother. Ikhlaque Khan is restrained in the role of Safeena’s father. Vijay Maurya stands his own as Murad’s maternal uncle, Ateeq. Vijay Verma is natural to the core as Moeen. Nakul Roshan Sahdev is very good as Salman. Rahil Gilani makes his presence felt as Rishi. Jyoti Subhash (as Murad’s grandmother), Tina Bhatiya (as Murad’s stepmother, Parveen), Rohini Ramnathan (as Murad’s maternal aunt), Svar Kamble (as Suhail), and Malika Singh (as Suhani) provide excellent support. Srishti Shrivastava (as Albina), Ved Thapar (as Sher’s dad), and the rest are also lovely.
Zoya Akhtar’s direction deserves distinction marks. She needs to be lauded for having the courage to make a commercial film on rap culture and making such a wonderfully entertaining film. Her narration keeps the audience totally engrossed. She will win a lot of praise for her direction. Music is excellent. ‘Apna time aayega’, ‘Mere galli mein’, ‘Doori’, ‘Azadi’, ‘Asli hip hop’ and ‘Kab se kab tak’ are excellent songs. ‘Apna time aayega’, of course, has already become a rage. Although all the music directors and lyricists deserve pats on their backs, the ones who stand out are music directors Spitfire, Divine, Naezy, Sez On The Beat, Rishi Rich, Major C, Dub Sharma, Ankur Tewari, Karsh Kale, Ace and Ishq Bector, and lyricists Spitfire, Divine, Naezy, Javed Akhtar, Dub Sharma, Kaam Bhari, Ankur Tewari and Ace. Javed Akhtar’s lyrics of Murad’s poems deserve special mention. Bosco-Caesar’s choreography is fantastic. Background music (by Karsh Kale and Savage Audio Collective) is terrific. Jay Oza’s cinematography is brilliant. Manohar Verma and Sunil Rodrigues’ action scenes and stunts are lovely. Suzanne Caplan Merwanji’s production designing is of a high standard. Nitin Baid’s editing is super-sharp.
On the whole, Gully Boy is a blockbuster. Its hookline, ‘Apna time aayega’, is so identifiable that it will resonate with the audience. There would be a section of the audience which may find the rap songs too much to handle but there will be a huge chunk of young viewers who would go bonkers over the film. Repeat audiences will be aplenty. Yes, the film may not work in several centres but its business from the big and medium cities will be so huge that it will turn out to be a richly rewarding enterprise.

बेहतर उपाय...

देखिये .......यह हैं मेरे दो जाँ सिपाही... मेरे घर की रखवाली करने वाले दो पौधे...साथ ही यह दोनों मेहमानों का स्वागत भी करते है,...

इन दोनों बड़े गमलों को मैंने बड़ी टूटी बाल्टियों पर बचे-खुचे तायल के तुकडे चिपका कर और ग्रोउट से भर कर ऊपर से स्कैच पैन से आउटिंग कर ऊपर से वार्निश कर दिया ...मुझे अपने दो बड़े पौधों के लिये बड़े गमले चाहियें थे ....सीमेंट के गमले बहुत भारी हो जाते तब मैंने टूटी बाल्टियोंऔर अन्य सामान के साथ इन गमलों को बनाया.

इस गमले में थूजा का पौधा है...इसे मैंने करीब १०-११ वर्ष पहले छोटे गमले में लगाया था...
और ऊपर इसमें जटरोपा का पौधा है..यह ७-८ वर्ष पहले मैंने छोटे गमले में लगाया था..
इसे बाद में मैंने ऊपर से रिम पर और ग्राउट लगाया और फ़िर स्कैच पैन से आउटिंग कर के ऊपर से दो कोट वार्निश कर दी...

देखिये ऊपर और नीचे की तास्विरें........इ ऊपर की रिम से कितनी दुरुस्त हो गई है...

इस बाल्टी का रिम बिलकुल टूट गया था मैंने बाल्टी की रिम पर एक मोटी सुई लेकर इसे गर्म कर जगह -जगह छेद किये और एक पानी की बेकार पड़ी ट्यूब के बीच मेंचिर लगा कर इसे रिम में फिट कर दिया,। और फ़िर इसे बोरी के तुकडे से फेविकोल से चिपकाया और फ़िर तार से सिल दिया.. सभी बेकार चीजें यानी कि बोरी का टुकड़ा, टूटी पुरानी ट्यूब, टूटी ताय्लने और टूटी बालटी का सही उपयोग कर सुन्दर गमले बन गये..
यह देखिये ज़रा नजदीक से कितना सुन्दर और टिकाऊ गमला बन गया है....

My plants,a Quote of the day.

I love ivy. Its my fav houseplant. My relatives sometimes took a twig of my ivy(without my notice) there is a myth if one steals away this plant to install in his/her own house, it flourishes and speed up multiplying...there is another myth ...when ivy in somebody’s house propagates vigorously..It means the owner of the house is rich...having much money..

I always have ivy in my house.Its cute that its tendrils wind and curve around anything they touch. There is something loving about that “reaching out” and “embracing”in its nature, something about its foraging and striving to expand that seduces me. And ivy leaves are so beautiful and elegant with even oblong shape. I love to grow Devil’s Ivy Raphidophora aurea and Epipremnum aureum version in my house. I mix them up in pots and planters and mass them together on one shelf to create a cascading effect. The texture looks wonderful. I also intersperse the planters with ornaments, like black Wedgwood jasperware, antique silver containers’ and decorative orbs.

The leaves of this plant will change from a bright green and yellow spotted leaf designs to a solid green color if the plant is not getting enough light.  It’s just that simple!  Although variety of ivy plant does well  in many situations and isn’t something to thrust into bright light, with minimal lighting it will actually produce only solid green leaves, and literally change it’s spots.

As more office buildings are opting to leave their lights off all weekend long, or install motion sensitive lights to conserve energy, plants that enjoy 7 day per week light are adapting to far less light per week.  While Devil’s Ivy is not damaged by less light, if the color change bothers you it may be time to move the plant to a location underneath an emergency light that is on 24 hours per day – 7 days per week, or nearer a window.

It may take a few months, but with a little more light, your plant will return it’s leaf pattern to what it was when you purchased it.

It is said that ivy indoors was adored by victorians, who popularized it as a houseplant for interior decoration. There are many foliage plants that adore and have in my house. But  ivy is superb in its growth that’s why it’s been portrayed in art and used in numerous decorative ways, inside and outside. As a foliage plant, it is one of the most popular and beautiful.

I hung my ivy pots from the ceiling and on a peg on wall so that their tendrils dangle down, and i also prefer them grounded on floor of my backyard and front yard and on shelves.

छप्‍पनिया अकाल (famine) nostelgia,my great grandma

छप्‍पनिया अकाल

राजस्‍थान या थार के इतिहास का सबसे भयंकर अकाल जो वर्ष 1898 में पड़ा.

विक्रमी संवत 1956 होने के कारण इसे छप्‍पनिया अकाल भी कहा जाता है. ऐसा माना जाता है कि इस अकाल में राजस्‍थान के दस लाख लोग भूख के कारण ही दम तोड़ गए. लोकगीतों व लोकजीवन में आज भी इस अकाल की भीषणता का वर्णन मिलता है.


Since the famine of 1899-1900 was in the Vikrami Samvat 1956, it is known as Chhappania Akal or Chhappania Kal. The El Niño year follow by El Niño+1 year in which the normal rainfalls are higher. The result was the famine was followed by epidemic , malaria & cholera and the severity of the famine was so bad that the tribals of Rajputana, Madhya Pradesh (central Provinces) , Gujarat (Bombay Presidency), Hissar and other places died in thousands. The tragedy is still sung in the folk songs of these areas. The famine relief in the British Provinces was organized by the Government of Lord Curzon and around 25% of the affected people were relieved as per the official figures, but the native princes of Rajputana and Gujarat who were autonomous failed to curb the death toll. The Government spent Rs. 170 Lakh and Rs. 130 Lakh in the famines of 1897 and 1900. This Chhappania Akal is the most widespread recorded in Indian history. Though, it was not as acute as the Orissa famine of 1866 or as fatal as the terrible Bengal famine of 1770, yet the progress of the media, invention and spread of Photography and the means of communication made it the most popular famine of India.http://www.gktoday.in/chhappania-akal-1899-1900/

my great grand ma used to distribute grains to the effected people during the famine time of chhappania-akal.
 My great grand father was saahukar( money lender) and had lots of money. He was elected as president of आर्य समाज and donated a some of rs 100 in the year 1907.

KITCHEN RACK

One of my recent prepping projects that was   completed last year these days was a wood storage rack. It was built with some used lumber "scrounged" from a construction site. It's approximately 3×3× 3feet in size. It was made three feet wide to accommodate tit bits of kitchen  . This was made to fit under the kitchen’s preparation platform    as a place to store some kitchen items   in a place that would be accessible when in need.

 
AQUARIUM IS PLACED ON THE RACK 

And since we will purchase/built a new big house in the near future, I didn’t want to procure any new drawer or almirah or I didn’t want to add doors to my store slab (which was our previous kitchen ..and the space ..from cooking platform  and upper open shelf can be made almirah by adding additional slabs and doors )so in short I wanted to make something a little quicker to hold my growing stash of yarn, thread, floss, macramé wires, beads, fabrics and lace.etc…etc, so I decided to cover a wooden rack with some fabric wadding and plastic sheet to prevent the internal space from dust…in our arid area the fine powdery sand particles are really nusions especially in summer that they used to penetrate through the foam wadding+ fabric so I have to sandwich a plastic sheet necessarily….

This versatile Kitchen and dish cloth  rack in wood scrap with zip opening is easy to operate . One  shelve stack bottles juicers, antique pans ,wooden spatulas, spoons, ladles, and churners and second shelve stacks dish cloths mesh cloths, muslin cloth etc.  Our dust cover protects stack while a zipper provides easy access to shelves.

Being Imperfect Quotes & Sayings

I'm not perfect and I'll never be perfect, but I'm perfectly fine with that.


We all have our own faults, that is we should try not to judge other people too much!


I accept that I can't help everybody, I can't please everyone either. I'm not perfect; but I know one thing for sure! I'm a work in progress, a student in class and a man that is willing to learn from his mistakes. So that I can have a better understanding in life.

Life is precious, it's beautiful you just need to have right attitude towards it. Live it in your own way without any regret.

Even when my Life seems to be crashing down, I still see God's Blessings and Grace standing out solidly in my Life.

आकाशवाणी रोहतक तैं मेरा एक लेख "मेरा आदर्श गांव " प्रसारित होया था मैने फख्र सै अक मैं शुरू तैं ऐ  गांव की साफ़-सफाई अर तरक्की की हिमायती थी, अर इस खातर रेडियो तैं बोल्या करदी , मैग्जीनों, अखबारों पर पम्फ्लेट  मैं लिख्या करदी। आज सारा देश साफसफाई कै बारे मैं लग रहे सैं।  म्हारे देश के प्रधान मंत्री भी साफ़-सफाई के भोत हीमायती सैं  उणनै   स्वच्छ भारत अभियान चला राख्या  सै जो राष्ट्रीय स्तर का अभियान सै  

जिसका उद्देश्य गलियों, सड़कों अर  अधोसंरचना नैं  साफ-सुथरा करना सै। 

मेरा आदर्श गांव

 आज के दिन मेरा गांव  एक आदर्श गांव  गिना जावै सै. मेरा गांव  बहुत सुन्दर और साफ  सुथरा सै, अर गली-गली मैं साफ़ सफाई सै. ना किते कूड़ा-कर्कट,  ना किते गंदे पानी की नाली, ना किते कागज़-कपड़े के टुकड़े.  ईसा लागै सै, अक सफाई नै म्हारे गांव  मैं आकीं अपना रूप धारण कर लिया हो. गाँव मैं भोत मेल मिलाप सै ना किसे का किसे तैं बैर अर ना किसे तैं जलन अर ना जाति-पाति का भेद-भाव, ना छुत-छात  की कोई खाई. बस सारे माणस-लुगाई मिल कीं गांव  की उन्नति करण मैं जुटे रहवैं सैं.

इब तो म्हारे गाम के घन-खरे (ज्यादातर) लोग पढ़े-लिखे होग्ये, अर लुगाई-छोरी भी किमें पढ़-लिख गई. जो रह रही सैं वे जुट रही सैं पढण खातिर. गाँव के घण-खरे(ज्यादातर) लोग अख़बार  पढ़ लें सैं, ट्रांजिस्टर पर समाचार सुणा करैं सैं. लोग जिद खेतां  मैं काम करण जावें सैं तो उस बख्त भी उनकै  धोरै  डोलै(फैंसिंग)  पर   ट्रांजिस्टर बाजदा रहवै सै. मेरै  गांव  मैं विकसित युग की  घण-खरी चीज़ सैं. गाँव मैं डाकखाना अर स्कूल तो सैं ए, अस्पताल अर बैंक भी सैं, एक डांगरां का अस्पताल भी सै. गांव  मैं सब कै घरां मैँ बिजली सै अर मीठे पाणी के नलके तो  हर गली मैं लग रहे सैं. म्हारे गांव  मैं आजकल लुगाई धुआँ -रहित-चूल्हे पर रोटी बणाया करैं वे उस धुआँ -रहित-चूल्हे पर धर  कीं ए प्रेशर-कूकर पर सब्ज़ी-दाल बणाया करैं, अर आजकल तो कई जगाई धुप का चूल्हा भी बरतण लागगी. 

सरकारी कागज़ाँ मैं मेरे गांव  का ज़िक्र नए युग के एक आदर्श गांव  कै रूप मैं होवै सै. जिद भी कोई विदेशी  मेहमान आवै सै तो सरकार उसनैं म्हारा गांव ज़रूर दिखाया करै. इबतांई  जितनै भी विदेशी मेहमान मेरे गांव  नैं देखण खातिर आये सैं वे म्हारे गांव  की साफ-सफाई, मेल-मिलाप अर लुगाई-छोरियां कै हाथ की बणी चीज़ देखकीं बहुत खुश होए सैं.

इबै कुछ दिन पहले म्हारे गांव का एक छोरा विदेश तैं पढ़ कीं उलटा आया तो वो अपनै  सतीं एक विदेशी मिंया-बीबी के जोड़े नैं भी ल्याया था, वो दो दिन म्हारे गांव मैं रहे गांव आल्यां नैं उनका खूब आदर-मान  करया. जिद वे महिला-मंडल केंद्र मैं गए अर उननैं लुगाई-छोरियां कै हाथ की बणी दरी, झोले अर  हरियाणवी चुटले-घाघरे (हरियाणा का परम्परागत केश विन्यास, और लहंगा) आली गुड़िया देखी तो वे अचंभित होगे उनके हाथां का हूनर देख कीं. महिला-मंडल की प्रधान नैं उन ताईं एक दरी अर एक गुड्डा-गुड्डी का जोड़ा भेंट करया.

गांव मैं घूमते-घूमते जब वे चमारां कै पाने मैं गए तो उननै चमारां कै हाथां की बणाई होई जूती भोत बढीया लागी तो म्हारे गांव के एक चमार जो पंचायत का मैम्बर भी सै, उन बिदेसीयां ताईं एक जोड़ी जूतियां की भेँट करी म्हारे गांव के सरपंच नै उन ताईं माटी के बणे खिलौणे भेंट करे तो उननै  खिलौणे देख कीं पूछ्या अक ये  खिलौणे कित के बणे सैं तो म्हारे गांव के सरपंच साब बोले ये म्हारे गांव के कुम्हार बणाया करैं सैं, वे बोले हम संसार के कई देशां मैं हांड लिए मण हमनैं इसी कला किते नहीं देखी.

म्हारा गांव आदर्श गांव किस तरां बण्या इसकी भी एक कहाणी सै म्हारे  गांव  की तरक्की अर उन्नति कई लोगां कै दिमाग की उपज सै जिननैं इसका खाका बणा कीं इस ताईं यो रूप दे दिया. आज मैं तहांम  नैं इसे दो- तीन लोगां कै बारे मैं बताऊँगी जिणनैं इस  गांव के आदर्श बणन की नीम धरी थी.  

 म्हारे गांव  का सरपंच घणीए ज़मीन का मालिक सै अर वो बहोत  अच्छा आदमी सै सन १९५२ तैं वो बिना किसे चुनाव के सरपंच बणदा आवै सै.  मनै तो जिद तैं  होश  संभाले सैं यो ऐ सुणदी आई अक ईबकाल दादे  कै ४०० मण  अनाज़ होया कदे  ५०० मण अनाज़ होया कितणा ए काल पड़ो उसकै १०-१५ मण अनाज़ तो जरूर  होगा.   तो फेर कै घरीं पिसे-धेलयां की तो कमी थी  नहीं उसने अपणा बड़ा बेटा सुन्दर अपणी बेटी जो बड़े शहर मैं रह्या करदी उसकै  धोरै पढण खातिर भेज राख्या था. वो बस  छुट्टियां मैं ए गांव  आया करदा. बचपन तैं ए सुन्दर नैं आपणे गांव  तैं बहोत लगाव था. जिदभी वो गांव  आंदा खेतां मैं  गांव  कै बाळकां सतीं खेल्या करदा. घर  मैं डांगर-ढोर के काम करदा, कदे भी खाली नहीं बैठ्या करदा, किमे-न-किमे करीं जाया करदा.  

जब वो थोड़ा बड़ा होग्या तो उसनै दसवीं पास करली थी अर वो गांव मैं आंदा तो वो अपणे गांव के आदमियां नैं गली-गली मैं ताश खेल्दै देखदा तो बहोत दुःखी होंदा, वो घरीं आकीं सरपंच साब नैं कहंदा,"पिताजी गांव  के आदमी क्यूकर डोलियाँ(दीवारों) कै सहारै बैठ कीं आपणा कीमती टाइम खराब करया करें सैं,अर बैठेंगे भी सही गाल कै कीचड़ अर गंदगी कै श्यामीं, 

ओड़ै ए  पाणी अर कूड़ा पड़ीं सड़ीं जागा अर  ओड़ै ए बैठे वे मारीं जांगे गप्पे  अर खेलीं जांगे ताश. उसके पिताजी बोले, "बेटा गांमाँ मैं लोग न्यू ए  टाइम पास करया करें सैं जिब खेत मैं किमे करण न ना हो तो इनैं -उनैं बैठ कीं  टैम पास कर लिया करें सैं, बेटा तनैं के करणा सै गामां का मैं मेरे बेटे नैं विदेश भेजूंगा डाक्टरी पढ़ण खातिर, फेर तूँ ओडै ए बस  जाईये या फेर आपणे किसे बड़े शहर मैं अपणी कोठी बनाइये आधे पिसे मैं  द्यूंगा मेरे बेटे नैं.

सुन्दर कहंदा,"पिताजी नहीं मैं अपने देश कै सतीं   गद्दारी नहीं करूँगा. मैं तो आपणे देश  मैं ए बसूँगा अर अपणे गांव  नैं भी क्यूँ छोडूँ  गांव  कोए  छूत  की बीमारी तो सैं नहीं अक पढ्या -लिख्या अर छोड़ दिया  किसे छूत की बीमारी की ढाल गांव. तो इसे-इसे सवाल-जवाब करया करदा सुन्दर अपणे पिताजी कै सतीं.

एक बर जिब वो डाक्टरी पढ्या करदा तो छुट्टियां मैं गांव आ रह्या था वो अपणे पास के शहर हिसार की यूनिवर्सिटी मैं किसान मेला देखण चला गया. ओडै किस्म-किस्म की चीजां की प्रदर्शनी लाग रही  थी किते बढ़िया बीज थे, किते खाद आर किते कीड़े मारण की दवाई किते अच्छी फ़सल लेण के तरीके बताण लॉग रहे थे.  आर मेले के एक कोणे मैं गृह-विज्ञान की  प्रदर्शनी लॉग रही थी उसका  ध्यान ओडै  गया उसने तरां-तरां की घरलू चीजां की जानकारी ली धुँआ -रहित -चूल्हा, सोलर कूकर, पानी साफ़ करण के घड़े अर फल सब्जी काटण के औज़ार देखे अर भोत प्रभावित होयाअर उसनै सोच्या अक म्हारे गांव  मैं यदि ये सब चीज बरतण  लाग जां  तो कितणा आच्छा हो. 

घरीं जाकीं उसनै अपणे पिताजी सरपंच साहब ताईं बताई अक पिताजी आप क्यूकर भी करो कोशिश कर कीं आपणे गांव  मैं ईसा कुछ करो अक लोग अपणे-अपणे घरां  मैं ये सब चीज़ बरतण लॉग जां सुंदर नैं  तो बस मुंह मैं तैं  बात काढ़णी थी सरपंच साब बोले, "बेटा ठीक सै मैं काल ए यूनिवर्सिटी मैं जाऊंगा अर पूछ कीं आऊँगा या तो वे उरै आकीं धुँआ-रहित-चूल्हा, साफ शैचालय, साफ़ पाणी के घड़े इत्यादि बणाने सीखा जांगे या फेर आपिं गांव  के आदमी, छोरियां नैं ग्रुप बणा कीं ओडै सिखण खातिर भेज दयांगे."  

सरपंच साब नैं इतणी कोशिश करी अक जब सुन्दर अगली बारी गांव  आया तो उसनैं दूर तैं ए चिम नियां मैं तैं धु-धू कर कीं धूँआ लिकड़दा देख्या अर गांव  की तो जणू काया पलट होगी थी. इब तो हर बार सुन्दर कोई न कोई नई बात बता जाँदा अर सरपंच साब उसनैं पूरी करण जुट जांदे. सुन्दर की देखा-देखी गांव  कै कई और  युवकां नैं  भी गांव  ताईं आदर्श गांव  बणाण मैं योगदान दिया था.

 उनमैं तैं एक  ब्राह्मणा का छोरा सुमेर था. वो बचपन तैं ए  काफ़ी होशियार था उसके पिताजी कै खेती की जमीन थी अर वो जमींदारां कै घरीं ब्याह-शादी अर मुंडन संस्कारां मैं पूजा-पाठ अर पंडताई करया करदे उसकी माँ व्रतां मैं लुगाई छोरियां नैं कहानी सुनाया करदी वे बदले मैं उसने अनाज, पैसे अर लत्ते-कपड़े दिया करदे. सुमेर कै या बात भोत खटक्या करदी जब कोई गांव  की लुगाई उनकै घरीं वार-त्यौहार नैं सिद्धा देंण खातिर आंदी तो वो कहंदा  म्हारै  घरीं क्यूँ देण आया करो हमीं तो धाए - धुस्से सां, थामीं गांव  की उस गरीब चमारी नैं  देंदे उसकै तो कोए बाळक भी कोनी. वो अपणे पिताजी नैं कहंदा, "पिताजी आपणी खेती की जमीन थाम नैं  हिस्से पर दे राखी सै आपिं खुद उस पर खेती करां तो अपणे गुज़ारे जितना आनाज ऊगा सकां सां." वो बामणां का छोरा सुमेर पढ़-लिख कीं एक बड़ा व्यापारी बण  रह्या सै आर टैम -टैम पर जरूरत पड़दे ए वो गांव  आळां की खूब सहायता करया करै,वो गांव  की पंचायत नैं भी विकास के कामां खातिर एक बड़ी धन-राशी हर बरस दिया  करै. जब भी कदे अकाल पड्या सुमेर नैं गांव के  पशुआं खातिर ट्रक  भर-भर कीं चारे के भेजे.

   

  अर सुंदर तो अपनै गांव  कै सरकारी अस्पताल मैं डाक्टर सै अर सरपंच साब का निजी सलाहकार भी वो ये सै. शुरू-शुरू मैं तो उसने डाक्टरी पढ की गांव  मैं डाक्टरी शुरू कर दी फेर सरपंच साब की कोशिशा तैं जिद गांव  मैं सरकारी अस्पताल की मंजूरी अर अनुदान मिला तो सब गांव  आळां  नैं मिल कीं श्रमदान कर फ़टाफ़ट अस्पताल की बिल्डिंग बणा दी. आज सुंदर उसे सरकारी अस्पताल मैं डाक्टर सै. साचीं  पूछो तो आसपास के गामां मैं वो ए सबका डाक्टर सै. 

म्हारे गांव  की पंचायत भी अपणे आप मैं विशेष स्थान राखै सै पंचायत घर की बिल्डिंग भी सब गांव आळां नैं श्रमदान कर कीं बनाई थी.  सब गांव आळे उसनें अपनी सम्पति समझैं  सैं.   हम सब पंचायत नैं आपणा परिवार मानां सां अर अपणै आप नै पंचायत का सदस्य  मानां सां.  हम सब अपनाएं स्वार्थ नैं ताक पर रख कीं अपणी इच्छावां का दमन कर देवां सां आर अपणी पंचायत पर आन नहीं आण देंदे. 

यो ए काऱण सै अक म्हारी पंचायत दिन- दुगणी  आर रात- चौगुणी  तरक्की करदी जावै सै.  या एक आदर्श पंचायत सै इसी पंचायत यदि सारे देश मैं होज्यां तो गांधी जी का राम-राज्य आदिं देर नहीं लागैगी. म्हारे गांव मैं जवाहर रोज़गार योजना ही शुरू होगी सै.  साढेतीन हज़ार की आबादी आलै गांव  मैं इस योजना के अंतर्गत हमनैं ८०,००० रूपये मिले सैं.  म्हारे सरपंच साब नैं पूरा लेख-जोखा तैयार कर लिया. सब गांव आळां नैं बेरा सै अक किस -किस कार्यक्रम मैं   कितने-कितने रूपये खर्च होए  सैं. हम नैं कितनी दिहाड़ी मिलैगी अर किसनैं के काम करणा सै.  इब हर घर का गरीब आदमी अपनैं  घर कै धोरै ए काम पर जावै   सै आर ३०% लुगाई भी इस रोजगार की हकदार होरी सैं हम सब नैं अपणे गांव  पर गर्व सै सरकार भी हमारे गांव नैं बड़ा मान देवै सै.
