Ideas For Empty Tins,Craft Knife

Here is an idea on what you can do to recycle or reuse those metal tins of protein/ milk your recycling man may not take or take as scrap pieces.

After making these two hook nestles it seems to me that I never showed you photos of these up cycled tin hook staking bins after they are photographed.

How I could have forgotten to do this is a mystery, since this is a project of which I am over-proud. If pride were a sin, I am doomed. Ohooo!. In my studio I love to make them into beautiful objects to house my hooks.

These bright tins transformed into beautiful objects and are the perfect place because I can fit many hooks in each, I make one for aluminum crochet hooks and the other for the steel crochet hooks. I bought a craft knife today Here is a link for craft knife inspiration. xoxo

THE NICHE AND A PATTERN

I was visiting my friends' olden era rural house in the HARYAN EASTERN REGION, and noticed a

 built-in niche under the stairs in the living room. My friends don't know what the niche is for.

 

The house was originally built grand ma in the 1930s. When  asked about  these features of old havelies  

  a couple of days ago, my aunt  replied that the niche might have been built to hold a dia  and lantern, but we tested that   a big lantern    won't fit.

Other suggestions included: a place to hold the mail (not deep enough for mail), FARMING TOOLS (seems too small),  MOBILE phones   (not in in the fashion), milk glass  holder (weird location for that), crochet ufo’s (that would be better in the basket), phone (too small), first-aid-box station (tp small for the box).

None of the above guesses seem right. What do you think it is?

बारीक धागे और हुक की मदद से तैयार की गई यह तिपतिया रचना अपनी किनारी (picot edging) और जटिल बुनाई की वजह से बेहद खूबसूरत लगती है।

केवल तस्वीर को देखकर (visualize करके) बनाई गई हरी पत्तियों का यह सुंदर गुच्छा। प्राकृतिक शेड्स और धागों के तालमेल से यह बहुत ही जीवंत और आकर्षक नज़र आता है।

Small doilies

Last Saturday I started to make these beautiful doilies of different sizes with diff..type of yarn and in diff colours, I decided to make at least 2 a month restricting myself to techniques (designs) that could be accomplished in this given time. My idea behind these was that once I would get going with these doilies, I would learn a lot about the crochet designs, different stitches  too.

Over the years I have realized that once you jump off the process of doing crochet, it is always very difficult to get back on but if I would be able to make two a month, I hopefully would establish a routine and could keep it up. I have almost been able to do it.

  

This is a small doily that I finished recently.  It is made from a lovely thread with a gold thread running with it so it sparkles. 

I have made two of these and since they are small they can be put under a small figurine/small vases of flowers. The pattern was very easy going.  I find that these patterns with diagrams are easier than all those long instructions of magazines.

Recycled Plastic bottle comb case

Few days back i made a comb case using a plastic bottle my crochet hook and cotton thread ....and a vintage lace piece stacked somewher in the bed head-box.My daughter stacked her combs in it saying it is my comb case from today............But it was so light to stand with the loads of her comb....

then i did some renovation ...........see the details in the photo under neath
