Dining Room Table Makeovers

There are so many different things you can do to revive an old table.  Take a look at these fresh ideas for a table makeover!  Here are just a few of my favorites.

Dress up a round table with a floor-length table cloth and a glass top. Add seat covers to the chairs.

For an eclectic look, collect a group of mismatched yet coordinating chairs to add some spunk to your dining room.

Get creative with paint—add a pop of color to your kitchen or dining room by giving your kitchen table a fresh coat of colorful paint. You could paint just the legs, just the top, or the whole table. If bright colors aren’t your thing, a new coat of white, black, or neutral color can freshen up the room too!

If you really want something bold and eye-catching, try stenciling designs on the table top.

Start from scratch and build your dining room table from the ever-amazing PALETTE!

Don’t forget you can freshen up the dining room table without replacing or refurbishing it. You can add table top accessories like table cloths, table runners, and centerpieces, flower arrangements.

my dinning

The dining room in our little cottage

is a place I intentionally use red accents.

Red transferware is always a favorite any time of the year.

Reds add warmth to a room...especially

since it's finally feeling more seasonable outside.

When I needed to refresh a bit,

I picked up a bunch of greens from my front yard.

It doesn't take much effort to create a festive mood.

Because the whole house is painted white

and there are windows on all sides,

there's a light and airy feel throughout.

And red and white will easily transition to winter after the summer.

The jars are filled with jatropa and chmelies

to add fresh greenery, texture and volume.

It's all about simplicity when it comes to my festive decor this year!

I have one tall open shelf unit in the kitchen

for dishes and such.

It's a great spot to stack my china

since that gets used daily.

I inherited  to live small...which isn't a bad thing!

My new ripple, moods of dinning table

Here’s a picture of my ripple bolster.  I started it with great enthusiasm, along with a few other projects.  I really like it and am looking forward to working on it again, probably this month itself.  I can warm my arms and work on it at the same time when the cool crisp weather begins.  Hope I can get it finished this year.

This one is a little bit harder than my first one with many ..stitches in a row.  For that one I used to name the big blanket and that pattern which gave me a lot of confidence-maybe too much. When I started may big blanket  I don’t know how to describe the pattern in crochet terms and the earlier one too without the pattern name but I have to alternate colors at times crocheting over the strand of color not being used.  I did really fed up with this one, instead it is very shorter then the above huge one.....the problem is that I am doing the new one with different pattern! yes!!! I am doing the single crochet for   each second row !
