MY VERY OWN CORNER

It's been a while since I last posted an entry here. This creative person (yes ! I’m creative) has been very busy... with life and with crochet, sewing, and making yarn with fabric scraps in leisure time. A lot of unexpected things happened that had me doing things and planning like crazy. Friends ordered crocheted items when I show them my finished projects . I think I will write a separate blog about this.
Aside from  doing things listed above , photography is also my passion. This week has been a busy one because we had to go to my sis for a week for change. And then, we had an unexpected photo shoot on the way.  When we got home to Hisar, we're scheduled to go to Delhi. So we had to unpack and pack the luggage.   We came back soon and did tiring job of dusting and washing.
THEN AGAIN THE TRIP TO DEHLI FOR MY’NIEC’S EXAMINATION AND FOR AN EVENT OF OUR NGO

Remembering Februry , Google

Today I will tell you one experience I had this February day.
It was the first week of February, to a beautiful day and we decided to go to Hisar via the road which has fields on both sides. When we arrived everything was great, looked the sun, the breeze and farms were   calm, (looked like a green carpet), had a blue sky, beautiful, rarely can see well, there were very few persons people, super clean sand on empty land, ie everything was perfect.
we stopped our car and got out into the roadside wheat field and were sitting   half hour or more, because the temperature was also perfect and no harsh sun, as soon as we reached Hisar near our house  and suddenly everything changed, in seconds, got up a hurricane blew chairs, umbrellas and sand also rose above our heads getting into the eyes, the sea was ruffled suddenly began to emerge that pool large waves had by sea, all that were there we looked scared and we even think of a tsunami, was chilling.
Strong, strong, tough about fifteen minutes, then slowed but we could not be there by the wind and sea conditions, the beach was empty we were going slowly, good hard bit. When we got home (I'm very close) and what happened we were told there had been no atmospheric change.
I assure you that an event like this had not ever lived that has force of nature against it no one can.

Then at home in night................

dinning was jam packed with week's purchases of food items

And after sleep……….. in the morning hours we enjoyed  mornings with pude
 remembering the previous day experiences.

I wish you a happy bridge abutment to everyone s!!

Motivation and my Jesus Christ's b day post

A Japanese brain researcher has found that there is a zone in our brain that makes us feel motivated to do something.

"The only way to activate this brain zone is to give it some stimulus...meaning, even if you don't feel like doing something, you need to start doing it. Once you begin doing it, it will be stimulated, and will start to go into self-excitation mode - which will heighten your concentration and motivation."

Jesus Christ's b day  post

I like to think of myself, sitting in the chair below with a plate and fork ready to eat dessert; only a slice of course. (of the  cake!) And the flannel shirt lying on the table  ? Just finished using the newly bought  " Flannel

Christmas at my Sis’s adobe

My sis’s house is full of cotton fabrics, furnishings, and quilts, beddings etc.etc every time I visit here adobe I found a new cotton fabric with beautiful patterns and colour …………it evoke the creativity within me to boost!!!!!!!!!
What is creativity?  I often ask myself that when I’m designing or sewing or quilting . . .
The answer eludes me.  And it always seems that it’s one step ahead of where I seem to be at the moment!
To me, creativity like beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.   If you think you’re creative, you are.  If you are creating, then you are creative.  If you ponder creativity then, you too, have a creative muse working inside of you.
According to Wikipedia, “Creativity is a phenomenon whereby something new and valuable is created (such as an idea, a joke, an artistic or literary work, a painting or musical composition, a solution, an invention etc.). The ideas and concepts so conceived can then manifest themselves in any number of ways, but most often, they become something we can see, hear, smell, touch, or taste.”
Sometimes, I believe many creative persons are in a “creativity crisis.”  That means fearing to jump into the fabric or technique unknown, to sew without a plan, to design their craft   freely without judgments, to follow ones gut instead of a trend.
I challenge you to take the leap.  Grab a few fabric bundles, a couple of fabric rolls, or pile of cotton fabric assortments from the shop my sis use to buy  — then play.  That’s right, PLAY!
Feed your creative soul.  Give your muse sustenance. Let go of any doubt or fear or self-criticism and return to the innately creative person you were as a child.  Relax and reclaim the creative spirit you were born with!
OH! Completely  irrelevant words for the post titled with Christmas ………but not for …….. my Sis’s adobe its full of cotton fabric with lots of colour and pattern!

My poet daughter is amazing............

My father's suggestions......

Do we need to have a teacher to guide  ?
I can definitely see how a guru or teacher would be very valuable for many people, at least for part of the journey, but I also think there are other ways to go about it.  One of the things I like about Hindu way of life  is that you do not need an intermediary between yourself and God. Because the divine is within you, you are always capable of accessing it directly.

On the other hand, a guide can be enormously helpful . My father was/is my real Guru.
Let me say something........that previously I was  used to think, is it really true that everything is written somewhere? Many times it happens with me that whenever I achieve something people used to say, “You are lucky” with one sentence they completely ignore all my hard work, it really hurts, but I also used to think what if I was not in the right place at the right time. So maybe they are not completely wrong. When I got failed to achieve something and negative thoughts like “Why it always happens with me?” came to mind, my father calms down me by reciting the famous  Shloka from  Bhagavad_Gita :
Meaning – Your right is to work only,
But never to its fruits;
Let not the fruits of action be thy motive,
Nor let thy attachment be to inaction.

Honestly, I never understand the real meaning of this  Shloka. I used to think, fruits are the motivation for any action how can a person doesn’t think about it. But after my father’s guidance I came to know what exactly it means, a person can get real satisfaction and pleasure only when he will do the work without thinking about results. Results make us conscious or we can say it makes us fearful. But it’s true nobody has control over the results, then who has control over it.. Fate/destiny??
Loard Krishna said in  _Gita that it is true that Fate exists and person get results according to his Fate, but we misunderstood the meaning of the same. We decide our fate by choosing right or wrong way. It is beautifully shown in below video part of  Ramanand_Sagar ‘s Shiri  Krishna.
