क्रोशिये के कवर से सजी चाबी

 सुबह -सुबह जब में गेट का ताला  खोलती हूँ तब बिना रोशनी के चाबी के गुच्छे में से गेट के ताले की चाबी ढूंढना मुश्किल होता है सो मैंने उस चाबी का  क्रोशिये से एक कवर बना दिया अब उसे ढूंढना आसान हो गया।  देखए क्रोशिये के कवर से सजी चाबी। ………।इसे बनाने का तरीका अगली पोस्ट में बताऊँगी

I can relate to this environment as I grew up in a semi-desert area of Bhiwani district of Haryana called the Bagar. Flat-topped hill like huge sand dunes are visible all where, the sand was (when I was a kid )so clean, we usually use that sand to clean our utensils, and put in the grains to store them for long time.

 It has a very unique beauty and a home like this would have been perfect. My grandparents home was very different to this... a   house built on platform full of locally weaved carpets(colloquially named as jajam) and bamboo antique furniture. It was beautiful, but perhaps not the best fit for the environment. The photo below is of the sand dune in Haryana.... very similar to the desert setting above.

Drop down spindle एक तजर्बा यह भी

मैं बचपन से अपने दादा और चाचों को ढेरे पर रस्सी बनाते देखती आ रही थी,फिर एक बार छुट्टियों में जब मेरे पिताजी हमारे गाँव आये तो उन्होंने मेरे मेरी मम्मी  द्वारा काते  गए सूत से रस्सियां बनाई थिए,जिनसे उन्होंने पलंग भरा था और मुझे भी पलंग भरना सिखाया था.

अतः उन्हीं के नक्शेकदमों पर चलते हुए मैंने भी  अपने पास इक्क्ठी की गई बहुत साड़ी कतरनों से रस्सी बनाने की सोची, और खूब साडी रस्सियां बनाई. जिनसे मैंने दो मैट बनाए और बाक़ी बची रस्सियों को इस बड़े स्टील के डिब्बे पर लपेट दिया अब यह हमारे ड्राइंग रूम की शोभा बढ़ा रहा है।   click HERE  and  HERE  to see the mat and

कपड़े से कवर किया रसोईघर का रैक.....

मेरे रसोईघर में स्लैब के निचे के कबिनेट नहीं बनाए हुए जब भी मैं उन्हें बनाने के लिए कहती हूँ बेटे का जवाब आता है की क्यों इतना खर्च करना हमें इस घर में नहीं रहना .....लोकेशन अच्छी नहीं  .....यह घर छोटा है.....फिर बर्तन और रसोईघर की दुसरी चीजें रखने के लिए बंद सुरक्षित जगह तो चाहिए ना मैंने अपने hanyiman  से यह रैक बनवाया और फिर इसे कपड़े का कवर बना कर ढक दिया  सामने का दरवाजा ......जिप लगा कर बंद कर दिया 

यह ठीक रसोईघर के प्लेटफार्म के निचे रखा जा सकेगा 

बड़ा ही अच्छा बन गया ...मुझे लगता है मैं एक रैक और बनवाऊं और उसे भी कपडे से कवर कर दूँ ......

इसमें दो खाने हैं 

इसे मैंने चारों तरफ से कपड़े से ढक दिया 

कवर किया गया रैक 

हालांकि मैंने यह नीले बड़े फूलों वाला कपड़ा जो की १००% सूती है ...कुर्सियों के कवर बनाने के लिए खरीदा था ...और इसका उपयोग हुआ  रैक  को कवर करने के लिए..
इस रैक कवर में तिन तह लगी हैं
१...ऊपर का नीले रंग के फूलों वाला यह कपड़ा जो बाहर दिखाई दे रहा है.
२. अन्दर की प्लास्टिक की शीट..(शीट  जो मैंने सामान पैक के साथ आई थी सहेज रखी थी) ताकि धूल मिटटी रैक के अन्दर ना जाए ..और
३. तीसरा  अन्दर का अस्तर जो कि मैंने  पुराना कपड़ा इस्तेमाल किया
इस रैक कवर को बनाने का तरीका मैं आगे कभी लिखूंगी
यह बहुत सस्ते मैं बन गया ....उपयोगी और देखने में सुन्दर भी है..

Metamorphosis: Color and Texture

I tried to turn my soafa into this:

Into an awesomely cute greener shade..because everything,

see the knot at arm of sofa, newly created flower wall hanging is peeking out here.......

........no seriously everything, in my house is either blue, green, ivory, brown with the occasional splash of red. It’s so boring! So in order to keep from routene repeated the above

the knot at arm is back side here

colors.i turned my sofas into green.i just wrapped the green heavy weight cloth

around the foam itself.YES UN- stitched………..all the three pads in one wrap,

wrapped and attached with the help of basket pins…………..and I was done within one hour!!..isnt is amazing

i will fallow this Site for Color and Texture of the fabric of my sofa...............YES ....INDEED ....Later on.
