today's verse, why of lapse....Baby rehana..

निराशीर्यतचित्तात्मा त्यक्तसर्वपरिग्रह: |

BG 4.21:  Free from expectations and the sense of ownership, with mind and intellect fully controlled, they incur no sin, even though performing actions by one’s body.

My computer was in trouble, that’s why I was not able to blogpost.
If it was taken to the computer shop, it would have been doing fine, back home it  would stop again, this spectacle continued for many days. Free finally the computer man said it is completely over now. I had a lot of trouble, there was a lot of work in it, there was a lot of photos, thank God he managed to tackle the problem and retrieved all the files and things,it survived and got its Mother board replaced and put all the files in it.
As soon as my son bring the computer in our house,I hurriedly opened it and check for the photo folder which contained hundrads of my grand daughter’s photos. Thank God! All of them were there, here is one ….when she was 6 months of age …..
My grand-daughter
Miss Rehana  is the sweetest baby, and so content. She looks at the world with big serious eyes and has to feel comfortable before engaging in smiles and play. it was the month of december (12/28/2014 7:49AM)Just after we came from Park  she was sitting in her chair completely engrossed with a piece of packaging( I unfold  it). The sun shone for a brief moment and illuminated her, so I grabbed my phone and took a quick photo.

As we contemplate another year in a world where much is broken, I leave you with these words from J._R._R._Tolkien

"The world is full of peril and there are many dark places. But still, there is much that is fair and though in all lands, love is now mingled with grief, it still grows, perhaps, the greater."

SOME QUOTES

"Freedom is actually a bigger game than power. Power is about what you can control. Freedom is about what you can unleash." -- Harriet_Rubin

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life and don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. Most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become." -- Steve_Jobs

"Many of our fears are tissue paper thin, and a single courageous step would carry us clear through them." -- Brendan_Behan

"Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood." -- Marie_Curie

blooms, i will do it, a quote ............

As spring sprung up in India from the day of basant panchami, since spring I  have been breeding my vases with flower heads precariously sitting on top.

I've tried explaining to the girls at our ngo centre  the virtues of enjoying the flowers in the garden, where they're happiest.

I've even gone the route of asking that if they must pick the flowers, perhaps pulling further down their stem would be best so I don't have to fill the vases to the top just so the poor, wilted flower head can drink some water. There has been limited success with this notion.
Either way, you're pretty much guaranteed around our house that there will be little vases of flowers striving to bloom after being plucked, played with and eventually brought inside to live out what life they may have left in them.

My Hibiscus rosa-sinensis

My  Hibiscus rosa-sinensis in the evening.I don't know why both the flowers were facing toward the wall instead of light/sun.I turned the pot for the shot ......

My goal is to photograph each and every rose that will be bloomed in my potted shrub.Right!

One of these properties is increasing hair growth, which is why a lot of hair growth products in

India include extracts of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis. It is also said to help prevent greying hair.

"If Rosa Parks had taken a poll before she sat down in the bus in Montgomery, she'd still be standing."

                                 -----------------------------Billy

"If Rosa Parks had not refused to move to the back of the bus, you and I might never have heard of Dr Martin Luther King." »
--------------------------Ramsey Clark

Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, also known as Chinese hibiscus or China rose, is cultivated as an ornamental plant

throughout the tropics. The flowers of the plant are edible and can be added to salads. Preparations made

from the flowers are also reputed to have medicinal properties.

Weather news for today,

  Weather news for today

The weather is increasing toward hottest side-temperatures are between 45 degree Celsius to 48 degree Celsius during the day and around 30 at night. It’s bearable in cotton clothes but the Khādī  (which is termed cool) in this heat is torture.
This is the month of May ….usual phrase for the season in Barah Masa is…
The appearance of things change according to the emotions and thus we see magic and beauty in them, while the magic and beauty are really in ourselves.
