मकर संक्रान्ति का त्यौहार

हरियाणा में मकर संक्रांति के दिन सबह- सवेरे नहा धोकर घर के सामने आग जलाई जाती है। कहा जाता है कि इस दिन चंडाल बाल धोलो यानी कि सब गंदगी इस दिन साफ़ कर ली जाती है..गाँव के चौराहे पर गउओं के लिये चारा डाला जाता है, और बच्चे नये वस्त्र धारण करते हैं और इस दिन हलवा बनाया जाता है॥ शाम के समय खीर और चूरमा बनाया जाता है॥

दिन में महिलायें ख़ास कर घर की नई ब्याही बहुएं अपने बड़ों को जगाती हैं..यानी कि महिलायें गीत गा कर झुण्ड में अपने ससुर, जेठ और अपने बड़ों को ऊँन के कम्बल या वस्त्र भेंट करती हैं।वे जान-बुझ कर सोने का नाटक करते हैं, और औरतें गीत गाते हुए उसके पास जाती हैं ,वहीँ बहु उसे खेस, दोशाला,अथवा कम्बल भेंट करती है,साथ में कुछ नकद रुपये भी दिये जाते हैं. बहुएं अपनी सास एवं ननद को भी नए वस्त्र भेंट करती हैं।

About 65 years ago,My grandpa(mom’s father built a house in orchid farm surrounded by gobargas-plant, a kolhu, a diggi(pond) and a few almond trees.this is where his children along -with his brother and his children , grandchildren of both brothers, children of their sisters and aunt’s children along with several other relatives spent every summer.nd where his children , grandchildren and great-grandchildren gather together most summers till he was alive. My daughter toddled-his first steps here, in summer 30 years ago.last weekend Vikki visited it for the first time.He never met his great-grandfather,but he’s heard the stories.

My children getting reacquainted again with their maternal roots, my son learning about them for the first time-so important, so special, so good।

I think it’s better to farm for youngsters in India as jobs are in short supply now and the condition will be worsted in the times to come see a link here
